How To Set Up The Perfect Home Theater
Monday, 7. March 2011
When designing a home theater, many elements need be considered. Of course, most often the style and type of television is the main focus when working on such a project. However, the overall feel of the room and the positioning of such items is also extremely important.
In addition, when working with such a professional, one also has the ability to look at many different screen as well as components for such a system. As such, one can often select from a far wider variety of high end audio video equipment when working with such a representative. For, while one can often buy different components over the counter, when working with a representative, one can often discover a great deal more about how each component works and why such would be a good option.
In addition, if one is looking to obtain the most realistic experience possible, one may also want to consider looking for a set which supports Digital Theater Sound (DTS). Of course, while DTS is a higher quality sound format than 5.1 or Dolby, those are still excellent options for those who either can not afford a system with DTS, or simply prefer the other two formats. However, in order to receive the best picture and sound, one must also position such items in the most optimum position in the room.
Also, if one wants to create the most cinema ambiance as possible, one may also want to consider placing posters along with a popcorn and hot dog vending style machine in the immediate vicinity of the home theater. For, in doing so, one can create a more realistic experience through the smell of fresh popcorn and hot dogs. Of course, if one wants to go all out, one can even consider adding a soda machine.
As such, one may want to consider first setting up a diagram so that one can find the best placement for both seating and television. For, in doing so, one can often save a lot of time by not having to move and remove furniture into its appropriate positions. Of course, there may be situations where some furniture may still need to be moved after one reviews the television in relation to the placement of other items.
Of course, regardless of the types of movies one may wish to watch, watching such programming in 3D or HD often brings the characters and story to life better than previous formats. In addition, such formats often provide the feeling that one is a character in the action rather than just a viewer. As such, if one wants some of the most realistic audio video available in such a system, one may want to consider going with such newer video equipment along with a high end surround sound speaker system.
To this end, while there are many different levels of home theater equipment available, there are definitely some brands that are better than others. However, most often such equipment relates more to individual taste. As such, one may want to consider viewing and listening to several different systems before making a final decision on which theater equipment to install in the home. After which, one can then make an educated decision based on personal enjoyment as to which system may work best for current needs.
